Members of the Navajo Nation usually mix with other politicians – not Edward Scissorhands.

But President Ben Shelly and Vice President Rex Lee Jim were over the moon to meet Johnny Depp, grinning for the cameras and relishing their moment of glory with Tinseltown’s finest.

The rather unusual event on their social calender was penciled in as the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor descended with his crew on Monument Valley to shoot his latest project The Lone Ranger.
